Dr.A.Devi Sangeetha, MD (DVL)

Dr.Devi Sangeetha is a young and vibrant Dermatologist with an excellent academic record from her undergraduate days. Being from a physician family and having grown up seeing and understanding what compassionate patient care is, she chose the path of medicine out of passion and zeal for service. Graduating from a government medical college, she understood the difficulties faced by rural masses for having to travel long distances for tertiary medical care. Nurturing her interest in Dermatology, she got trained extensively in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy under stalwarts of the state like Dr.Murali Narasimhan and Dr. Prabhavathi. During her residency she was involved in OPD and IPD patient care and advanced aesthetic procedures. She dedicated part of her time during residency for COVID services at SRM Medical College during the COVID-19 pandemic national exigency and risked her life as a COVID Warrior. Having found her interest in subspecialty Aesthetic Dermatology, she got trained in Lasers, Dermatosurgery and other advanced dermatological procedures under world renowned dermatosurgeon Dr.Avitus John Raakesh at SP Derma Laser Centre, Madurai. With the aim of clubbing compassionate patient care with most modern technological advances and to introduce the concept of Aesthetic Dermatology to the rural and semi urban population, she set up Cuticare Advanced Skin & Aesthetic Care at Shanthi Nursing Home, Surandai, Tenkasi. She has been helping and serving the people of the region since, with early diagnosis and timely treatment of dermatological disorders and at the same time giving world class state-of- the-art technology at affordable rates to the underprivileged.
